About us
Our Story
As a family owned business, we provide abrasive blasting and protective coatings to a wide variety of customers. Whether your a hobbyist restoring an antique or old car, a welder needing a piece cleaned up prior to starting, or a new paint finish on your completed work. No job is to small. We also serve small industry, oil and gas, and agricultural clients.
Industrial Coatings
Using quality paints from top manufacturers, we provide durable and high quality custom paint services. A variety of paint, primer, urethane and enamel types available to meet your needs. Paint matching, custom colours, and a variety of finishes can bring your project back to life. With our new 20’x40’ combination blast and paint booth, your project stays protected from the elements from the moment you drop it off until you pick it up.
Abrasive Blasting
Because your project is as important to us as it is to you, we have a variety of products and techniques to meet your job specific needs. Typical “sandblasting” shops use regular silica outdoors which is dusty, messy and poses a health risk to employees and customers. At Lucas Coatings, we only use recyclable media including garnet, glass, or walnut shell blast media, indoors in our speciality constructed combination booth. After each job used abrasives are reclaimed, fines and contaminates removed, and the media returned to the hopper to be used again.
